NSI requires a Journeyman Civil/Mechanical Engineer to support the Fleet Readiness Center, East. The CM/ME provides organizational, intermediate, and depot‑level facilities engineering consultation and liaison services and technical assistance pertaining to installation and maintenance, modification, refurbishment, and retrofit for systems, subsystems, structures, support equipment, components, and software in support of aircraft and depot facility equipment. FRC engineering services include preparation, review, and maintenance of Electronic Work Packages for production and engineering support;
on‑site production shop support within the FRC industrial complex; modification, maintenance, and documentation of facilities engineering support systems. The role supports a specialty engineering/scientific discipline, applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military facilities or work spaces. The engineer solves problems in a narrow specialty field or over a broad scope of specialties by reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analysis, reports, change proposals and other technical documents.
The EA guides the engineering of unique problems, develops new techniques and methods, and ensures project procedures and controls are followed. The engineer manages manning and staffing project efforts, leads problem resolution, and interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of programs and projects.

Skills:
Licensed construction contractors with construction project management experience. Experience includes the development of projects from design, permitting through construction and project completion, procurement and supply chain management, scheduling, quality control, worksite supervision, and budgeting.
Education:
A BS degree in professional engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, or a relevant scientific/technical degree in the applicable task area.
Experience:
At least three (3) years of extensive experience performing the functional duties for this position.
Security Clearance:
Secret clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
