We’re seeking a Part‑Time Optometrist to join our mobile care team in New Bern, NC. This flexible role is perfect for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a lasting difference in local senior communities. All equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing are fully managed by CMC. As an independent contractor, you’ll have the freedom to focus entirely on providing excellent care without the administrative burdens of private practice.

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, refractions, and vision screenings
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases common among geriatric patients
• Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with optical labs as needed
• Educate patients and facility staff on eye health and preventive care

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Active North Carolina optometry license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (geriatric or mobile care preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills

• 1–2 visits per month
• Flexible scheduling – typical hours 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
