The City is seeking an experienced City Manager with strong leadership, staff development, decision‑making and communication skills, and mature judgment. The ideal candidate will have strong effective decision‑making and problem‑solving, visionary leadership, collaborative team management and development, emotional maturity, and communications that create transparency. They will be committed to public service and community relations and will uphold high ethical standards. The City values willingness to learn about the military interest in the community, skill in economic development, project management, utility management, and community planning.
Salary range is $185,000 – $230,000 depending on qualifications, with competitive benefits.
Requirements: BA/BS in public administration, business management, civil engineering, planning or related field and considerable municipal management experience; preferred MPA and ICMA Credentialed Manager. Military experience is strongly preferred.
