HEPA Filtration Equipment Technician supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, focusing on installation, maintenance, testing, certification, and repair of HEPA filtration systems in classified aseptic environments.
Responsibilities- perform HEPA certifications
- leak and airflow tests
- maintain certification records
- troubleshoot HVAC systems
- execute preventive and corrective maintenance following cGMP standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical training from HVAC/refrigeration trade programs or recognized apprenticeships
- 2+ years of recent experience as a HEPA technician performing leak and velocity testing; or equivalent military training and experience
- ability to read HVAC drawings
- mechanical aptitude
- familiarity with testing and balancing HVAC systems
- experience with certification of HEPA filters in aseptic manufacturing
- working in controlled environments
- aseptic gowning
- and safety protocols
primarily on-site in classified pharmaceutical manufacturing areas, involving heavy lifting, confined spaces, and working at heights; may require immunizations, PPE, and emergency response readiness.
