Site Manager | Site Supervisor | Construction Manager

Haverfordwest | Negotiable Day Rate | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-5pm | Short-Term Holiday Cover | 26 August Start

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to provide short-term holiday cover for a well-established client in Haverfordwest
. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Site Supervisor who is available for a short-term assignment and can take ownership of day-to-day site operations.

You'll be responsible for coordinating trades and subcontractors, overseeing site activity and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Key Duties
  • Manage day-to-day site operations and site labour.
  • Liaise with trades, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Coordinate and monitor materials and deliveries.
  • Ensure works are completed to programme and required quality standards.
  • Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor and enforce site health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication across the site team.
  • Open and close the site each day.
  • Take ownership of site activities and help ensure the smooth delivery of the project.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS Certification.
  • First Aid Qualification.
  • Strong understanding of construction site health and safety.
  • Confident managing trades, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Proactive and organised approach.
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently.
