Job OverviewHaverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Nurture). This part‑time role works 3 days per week and focuses on providing specific support in implementing the Nurture provision for pupils within the Nurture Unit.
Responsibilities- Work under the guidance of teachers and/or members of the school Leadership Team.
- Collaborate within an agreed system of supervision to implement work programmes with individual groups, in or out of the classroom.
- Provide specific support in implementing the Nurture provision for pupils within the Nurture Unit.
- Promote excellence, inclusion and high expectations in an environment that values students.
- A good standard of education and an understanding of children/young people's needs and rights.
- Experience of working with children.
- DBS certificate and registration with the Education Workforce Council.
- Meeting the person specification as detailed in the full job description.
