Pembrokeshire College is currently seeking to appoint a enthusiastic and proactive Bilingual Support Tutor with proficient Welsh language skills, to work within various vocational curriculum areas, to include Sports, Animal Care, Childcare and Construction, either full-time or on a part-time basis.

Scale BS18 - 25 (BAR 26 - 29)

We have the following opportunities available:

• 1 x Part-time - 22.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, fixed until 30th June 2027

You will hold a relevant minimum Level 3 qualification and;

You will ideally hold a relevant teaching qualification i.e. AET (Award in Education and Training) formerly PTTLS or equivalent.

The ability to work confidently through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post. You will have experience of working in an appropriate professional or industrial field, within a bilingual setting.

Ideally, you will have experience of working with and assisting young people to work towards achieving their career aspirations in readiness to join a bilingual workforce. Experience of working in the relevant discipline (either Sport, Animal Care, Childcare or Construction) would be advantageous but not essential.
