Service Manager role at Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative.
Location:
Pembrokeshire, with an office base in Haverfordwest.
Hours:
37 per week; shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins. Salary: £32,669 per year plus sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and travel expenses paid at 45p per mile.

What you’ll be doingAs Service Manager you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the support service and for proactively contributing to its ongoing development. You’ll provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to deliver quality, person-centred support to the people we support.
You’ll conduct regular reviews of the support requirements, including service delivery plans, support plans, progress logs and risk assessments, following the principles and practices of person-centred and relationship-centred Active Support. You’ll manage a team of support workers with responsibility for all aspects of team management and development, and you’ll coach them to creatively problem solve and develop.
Above all, your focus will be on achieving the highest levels of support and independence for the people we support to make everyday remarkable.
What you’ll need- Experience supporting people with learning difficulties in a social care setting
- Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards)
- A strong caring nature to support others to live an enriched life and fulfil their potential
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice
- Flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required
- Access to your own car and willingness to use it for transporting people we support to and from activities; able to arrange business insurance for your vehicle (45p per mile paid)
- A driving licence and willingness to travel for meetings and training
