Behind every smooth-running operation is someone making the right calls long before materials hit the floor.
Our client operates within steel fabrication and construction, delivering complex projects that rely on planning, timing and dependable supply chains. Buying here is not a background function. It is a role that keeps momentum, protects programmes and gives the wider team confidence that what is needed will arrive exactly when it should.
This is a Buyer position for someone who enjoys ownership, coordination and problem-solving. You will sit at the centre of the operation, working closely with production, suppliers and internal teams to ensure purchasing activity supports delivery rather than slowing it down.
You will be trusted to manage detail, communicate clearly and stay one step ahead, rather than simply react.
