OPERATIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT (PART TIME)
Hours:
20 hours/week (8.30am - 12.30pm, Monday
- Friday)
THE ROLE:
We're looking fora motivated and organised Operations and Customer Service Assistant to join our team. You'll be responsible for processing incoming shipments, picking and packing customer orders, handling returns, stock control,responding to customer enquiries and maintaining our high level of customer service.
You'll make surethat products are correctly stored and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner, and that customer satisfaction remains consistently high.
INCOMING SHIPMENTS:
- Maintain recordson the status of incoming shipments from suppliers.
- Receive incoming shipments, update records and verify accuracy of contents.
- Label products, store and organise stock in appropriate locations.
- Process orders and update stock levels electronically.
- Pick and pack orders.
- Label orders and book shipments for dispatch.
- Keep an accurate record of stock levels with regular stock counts.
- Process order returns and exchanges.
- Provide updates to the customers on the status of their return.
- Adjust stock levels accordingly.
- Replying to customer enquiries through email and social media
- Perform regular checks on the volume of packaging materials and office stationery, notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Maintain organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Occasional assistance at shows and festivals that will include weekends with overnight stays.
- The abilityto learn quickly and act on instructions.
- Confident with basic spreadsheets and order/inventory systems (Shopify experience a bonus).
- Agood standard of spoken and written English and maths.
- Organisation - you enjoy being organised and extremely detail-oriented.
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a small team.
- Able to work effectively under pressure.
- Comfortable with physical work - on your feet, lifting and moving stock. Able to lift a minimum of 12kg without assistance.
- A sharp eye for detail and genuine pride in getting things right.
- Flexibility:for joining us occasionally at festivals and shows, including some weekends away
Previous experience preferred but not essential.
HOURS:- 20 hours per week, part-time.
- Monday
- Friday, 8.30am - 12.30pm. - Occasional overtime for events (shows and festivals)
