Vision for Education are currently recruiting for the role of a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Teacher to work with KS1 & KS2 Pupils in a Primary school in Haverhill from January 2026.

About the role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant it is essential that you can support children with challenging behaviour, as you will be working in an environment that believes in nurturing children to achieve their full potential both socially and academically.

Knowledge of the Primary curriculum and either experience of, or a desire to work with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs is essential.

About the school

The school has small class sizes with a teacher and several TA’s in each class. In the role of TA you will be required to build positive relationships with pupils, and help children overcome barriers to learning.

To be considered for the role of SEN TA you will:

Have strong behaviour management abilities
Be committed and dedicated to the learning and development of children and young people
Have a caring and nurturing character
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
