Salary: £14.50 – £15.80 per hour (£30,160 – £32,864 per annum DOE)

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch) + overtime available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run engineering manufacturer based on the outskirts of Haverhill, Suffolk.
This role would suit an experienced MIG Welder with sheet metal fabrication experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative production environment.
Duties will include:
 
* MIG welding and fabricating components for agricultural machinery.
 
* Working with materials ranging from 1.5mm sheet metal assemblies to heavy gauge SHS and plate.
 
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship across all welds and assemblies.
 
* Working closely with the production team to achieve daily and weekly build targets.
 
* Supporting the manufacture of machinery used across the world.
 
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately in line with company standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
 
* Proven MIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment.
 
* Experience producing clean and consistent welds on materials ranging from 1.5mm–20mm.
 
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
 
* A positive and reliable attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team.
 
* TIG welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
