Quality Control Operative

Location:

Haverhill, Suffolk
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Haverhill, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to secure a long-term role within a busy production environment.

As a Quality Control Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with the production team to carry out inspections, identify defects, maintain accurate quality records and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out quality inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Identify defects and non-conforming products.
  • Record inspection findings and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Assist in identifying the root cause of quality issues.
  • Work closely with production colleagues to maintain high quality standards.
  • Ensure all products meet company specifications before progressing through production.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience as a Quality Control Operative, Quality Inspector, Production Operative or within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
  • Ability to identify defects and contribute to resolving quality issues.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking and committed to long-term employment.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
