QA Team Leader

Are you an experienced Quality professional with previous team leadership experience looking for a new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a QA Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing business in Haverhill on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll supervise a team of 6-7 OQC team members, coordinating daily workloads and ensuring resources, documentation and equipment are available to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 6-7 OQC team members
- Plan and allocate daily workloads and resources
- Monitor and report team output and performance
- Review and report product inventory and WIP status
- Support OQC and IQC activities where required
- Pack and label products ready for shipment
- Print job/works orders and production documentation
- Ensure quality processes are followed in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Work closely with other departments to support customer requirements
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience with in a Quality Control or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively
- A strong team player who can also work independently
- Proactive, reliable and able to use initiative
