Retail Merchandiser

If so at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Haverhill CB9 OBQ. You'll be an integral part of a field based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well stocked.

• Work across a variety of categories including toys and gift cards.
• Confirmed working days and hours: 8 hours per week.
• Monday 08:00 start
  Thursday 08:00 start
  Saturday 16:00 start
  Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.

• Compliance and Standards
  • You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
  • You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
  • You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
  • You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building
  • You'll build and maintain good working relationships with in store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
  • You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thriving while owning your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions.
• Taking pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling: moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.
