Reports To: Accounting Manager

Salary: $67-$70K, depending on experience

Location: Georgetown, MA

Our client in Georgetown, Ma is looking for a Staff Accountant to play a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager by ensuring accurate financial processes and compliance. This position is responsible for managing invoicing, billing, payroll assistance, and vendor disbursements, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting function.

• Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitor and reconcile account statements; follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure prompt payment.
• Continuously review and improve billing processes, identifying and escalating any issues related to accounting, business procedures, or financial operations.
• Complete assigned financial close tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Manage bi-weekly vendor cash disbursements.
• Assist in gathering documentation and account details for annual audits.
• Support weekly payroll processing using Paycor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

• 0-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers, executives, and internal teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and proficiency with accounting software systems.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Epicor, Paycor, and manufacturing environments is a plus.
