NFI Massachusetts Inc., a human service organization, is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our Ambulatory Services Division located in Haverhill, MA.
NFI MA Inc. provides a range of mental health services in the Northeast Massachusetts area, working with individuals and families throughout the lifespan. Ambulatory Services is a full-service outpatient facility specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Individuals served are from the Merrimack Valley area and come in for individual treatment, group treatment, and medication management.
The administrative assistant is responsible for supporting the Division Director, the Director of Outpatient Services, the Director of Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP), and the Director of the Massachusetts Impaired Driver Program (MID). Candidate must have the ability to manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and work independently but also as a member of a large team of clinicians, counselors, and administrators.
Job Responsibilities- Answering phones/directing calls
- Greeting clients
- Scheduling appointments
- Accepting payments and recording accurately
- Managing client records as needed
- Responding to requests and questions from clients
- Consistently protecting patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies and guidelines
- Assist prescriber with medication needs and inquiries
- Ability to develop/manage spreadsheets for a variety of division needs
- Fax/file/research as needed
- One-year administrative assistance experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a mental health environment is also preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required.
- Full-time position, Monday–Friday, with some evening availability.
Salary: $23.00 per hour
