Swimming Pool​/Waterproofing Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a Swimming Pool/Waterproofing Laborer to support new pool construction, pool renovations, and residential waterproofing projects at local job sites. Reporting to the Owner and General Manager, this role will assist with site preparation, waterproofing, concrete work, and general job-site operations. Travel varies by project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites for pool construction, renovations, and waterproofing work.
• Assist with pool excavation and related construction activities.
• Apply waterproofing materials and systems as directed.
• Prepare surfaces for waterproofing, concrete, and finishing work.
• Handle and stage construction materials and supplies.
• Mix and assist with placing concrete.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow job-site safety requirements and work efficiently as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in pool construction and waterproofing.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems and concrete work.
• Familiarity with construction tools.
• Physical stamina for labor-intensive work.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently on varying project assignments.
• Must speak/read/write fluent English.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and provide proof of valid U.S. citizenship.
• No smoking or drugs of any kind during the workday.
• Must come to work appropriately dressed for the workday, every day.
• Must be able to think on your feet and be willing to take direction/criticism constructively.
• Must be prompt to work every day.
