statement of duties:

• responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the bridge program coordinator.
• works with students in a small group setting as needed.
• privides support to student's individual needs.
• maintains a record of assinments completed by students.

qualifications:

• licensed by the massachusetts department of elementary and secondary education required.
• knowledge of middle school philosophy, organization, and curriculum.
• understanding of the middle school student and his/her early adolescent needs.
• knowledge of recommended middle school instructional practices.
• such alternatives to the above qualifications as the superintendent of schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
• enjoys working with middle school students.
