Manufacturing Team Lead

Shift Hours

6:00am - 2:30pm, Mon to Fri

The primary responsibilities include day‑to‑day oversight of departmental goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Employee Development. Additional duties include maintaining and repairing specialized equipment to established parameters and specifications. This position collaborates with the entire manufacturing team.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience operating a Scanning Electron Microscope, troubleshooting and electronic equipment repair OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills
• Minimum of a 2-year associate degree in a technical field like Electronic Engineering Technology, Microelectronics or Mechatronics preferred
• Military Technical Training in lieu of a technical degree may also be considered
• Experience with low volume, highly complex manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated ability in successfully leading a team of colleagues
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• At least 2 years of validated experience in a job‑related industry with proficiency in operating Scanning Electron Microscopes & Mechanical and Electrical complex high‑tech equipment repair
• Experience working in the field of Electronics and proficiency in Ultra High Vacuum strongly preferred
• Experience with troubleshooting Scanning Electron Microscopes down to the component level
• Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus
• Experience with Windows‑based and MS Office programs a plus (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Ability to use Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Soldering Irons, etc.
• Knowledge of Scanning Electron Microscopes, data acquisition, taking SEM images and measurements
• Knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing, Equipment Repair, High Voltage, and Ultra High Vacuum
• Ability to read work instructions and schematic drawings while performing basic troubleshooting of tools down to the component and software level
