A Typical Day — Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, with evening and weekend hours as needed.

This role is in-person (not remote).

• Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices; lead and develop associates; drive an outstanding client experience and growth objectives across all offices.
• Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, and delivering growth for three offices.
• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience, with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Ability to execute growth plans and lead toward a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and benefits described above.
