Position: Awake Overnight Residential Counselor (Brain Injury)

Overview

Awake Overnight Residential Counselor (Brain Injury). Job posting for the role at Vinfen.

Responsibilities
  • As an Awake Overnight Counselor, provide direct support to people with brain injury or behavioral conditions in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.
  • Collaborate with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to build independence skills or improve quality of life.
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP).
  • Implement treatment plans and assist people with activities of daily living.
  • Nightly cleaning and filing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, behavioral conditions and/or brain injury strongly preferred.
  • Strong time management and writing skills.
  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid US driver's license for at least 6 months.
  • All applicants must be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
  • Must be able to pass CORI, references, national fingerprinting and driving record checks.
Pay

Pay Range: USD $18.25 /Hr.
