SummaryThe ACCS GLE/IGLE/SIE Floating Program Director (PD) promotes the full integration and functioning of Persons Served (PS) needed to live successfully in the community. Provides managerial coverage to a range of programs across the Essex North area including but not limited to Group Living Environment, Intensive Behavioral Group Living Environment, Intensive Medical Group Living Environment, or Supported Independent Environment site. The ACCS Floating PD will provide coverage through vacancy, leave of absences, and/or when general increased managerial support/training is needed.
Incorporated into the pool of Program Directors to supervise residential staff; manage staffing, licensing, quality, and implementation of support interventions in Treatment Plans by residential staff across programs following the direction of the Team LPHA Clinician. Facilitates successful and timely transitions to and from residential settings.
- Promotes the engagement, housing permanency, community tenure, achievement of greater self‑sufficiency and successful completion of tenure at the residence for all PS at the site.
- Manages a GLE, IM/IBGLE, or SIE residential site’s systems and procedures, including planning and implementing regulations and requirements, quality improvement initiatives, and intakes and discharges from residence.
- Guides and coaches staff on MAP implementation and supports ongoing success at various programs.
- Collaborates with Team’s Housing Coordinator to facilitate successful and timely transitions to and from the group residential site.
- Creates a helping environment in the residence in which family, friends, and others important in the lives of PS are welcome, respected and valued.
- Promotes teamwork between Team and GLE/IM/IBGLE/SIE staff to provide all Treatment Plan interventions in and out of residence as needed.
- At the direction of the LPHA Clinician, ensures that the non‑clinical support interventions of each resident’s Treatment Plan are completed as outlined.
- Implements Safety Plans and Crisis Prevention and Response Plans as developed by Team for residents.
- Assists the LPHA Clinician in managing the quality and timeliness of residential staff’s Treatment Plan documentation and Medicaid Rehab Option standards adherence.
- Monitors the staff’s use of evidence‑based practice techniques, requesting additional training from Team staff as needed.
- Supports the provision of evidence‑based practices and best practices to PS, including Motivational Interviewing;

Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP);
Seeking Safety and Cognitive Behavioral interventions. - Manages the site’s DMH licensing adherence.
- Maintains the residence’s adherence to Medication Administration Program policies and procedures.
- Manages residential sites’ collection and use of resources including food stamps, program fees, representative payee accounts and client funds. Monitors expenses and residence’s budget. Submits information for billing procedures.
- Manages adverse events, including Incident Reporting; ensures corrective actions are implemented.
- Attends to urgent/emergent on‑site needs across programs when necessary.
- Oversees Human Rights policies and procedures for residence.
- Ensures the maintenance, repair and safety of the residence.
- Maintains “good neighbor” relationships with residence’s neighbors.
- Maintains strong working alliances with other service providers of the PS in the residence, including Care Coordination entities.
- Supports with hiring, orienting, providing day‑to‑day supervision of, and evaluating residence’s staff. Offers consistent and direct performance feedback. Conducts corrective action procedures for residential staff if needed.
- Manages relief and overtime resources to maintain operational excellence.
- Implements retention, recognition and awards initiatives for residence staff; provides career development guidance and broadcast promotion opportunities.
