Travel Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care facility, requiring MA state licensure and prior LTC or rehab experience.

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
• New grads considered if Level II clinical experience was completed (Level I observation does not qualify)
• LTC or Rehab setting experience required
• MA state license required
• 1 reference required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Long Term Care (LTC) unit in a skilled nursing/rehab facility setting
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment
• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs
• Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice and standardized assessments
• Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, and wound care as needed
• Provides consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders
• Communicates patient progress and treatment plans with supervisors and healthcare team members
• Completes discharge summaries and documentation per regulatory and clinical standards
• Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings
• May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, and students
• Adheres to APTA and state practice standards and code of conduct
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested
