Job Summary:

As a Food Quality Control Technician on First Shift, you'll help ensure our products meet strict quality and safety standards. You'll test, weigh, inspect, and verify food products during production and help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. • Perform quality checks using tools like pH meters, thermometers, viscometers, and moisture analyzers.
• Inspect product weight, packaging, and integrity using metal detectors, check-weighers, vacuum leak tests, etc. Accurately record and verify all results.
• Taste‑test products (may include allergens like soy, wheat, or nuts) to ensure quality meets specifications.
• Make timely decisions when quality issues arise and escalade as needed.

• Work environment ranges from 34F to 55F. Frequent exposure to water, damp conditions, machinery, and noise.
• Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for long periods. Frequently lift up to 10 lbs; occasional use of stairs, ladders, or platforms.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and use of hands.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and inspect small details.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English required.

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in QA, food manufacturing, or food safety is a plus; we will train the right person.
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, FDA, or food safety standards is helpful.
• Computer/data entry skills preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and eager to learn.
