TRAK Machinist (1st Shift, Monday‑Friday)
Pay: $25‑$30 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

- Program and Operate Machines
:
Use Proto
TRAK milling machines and lathes to create plastic components per technical drawings and job specifications. - Tool Selection and Settings
:
Choose appropriate tooling and machine settings for different plastic materials, optimizing efficiency and precision. - Quality Assurance
:
Conduct first‑piece inspections and monitor production to meet quality standards and tolerances. - Adjust for Material Properties
:
Modify feeds, speeds, and tooling to suit materials like acrylic, PVC, and polycarbonate, ensuring top‑notch surface finish and dimensional accuracy. - Machine Maintenance
:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating Proto
TRAK machines to maintain peak performance. - Record Keeping
:
Maintain accurate records of production runs, tooling changes, and machine maintenance activities. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance machining processes for plastic materials. - Safety Compliance
:
Follow safety protocols to avoid damage to machines and materials, with extra care for materials that may react to heat or stress.
