Baylor Nursing Supervisor – The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Haverhill, MA
PayBase pay: $40.00/hr – $47.00/hr (weekly pay ranging from $40 to $47 an hour).
Schedule:
7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (24 hours) on weekends.

Responsibilities- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
- Participate in developing, updating, and communicating residents' care plans.
- Ensure staff implements care plans, performs care activities appropriately, and recognizes changes in resident status.
- Maintain current resident care plans for those under your care.
- Follow physicians’ orders, provide nursing care, and assist with treatments, dressings, and other orders.
- Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
- Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive nursing notes.
- Maintain awareness of residents on alert list and conduct RN assessments as needed.
- Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact physicians when necessary.
- Administer medication according to procedure, if applicable.
- Initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
- Oversee Charge Nurse and CNA performance.
- Promote positive resident and family relations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts.
- CPR certified.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or related health care facility.
- Proficient reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
- Accurate and comprehensive assessment skills.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and procedures.
- Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Effective interpersonal skills with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to long‑term care.
- Leadership and supervisory ability with willingness to collaborate with professionals and non‑professionals.
- Planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and interpreting programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for quality care.
- Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm; ability to handle difficult residents.
- Effective communication regarding emergency situations.
