Job Overview
As an Installation Merchandiser Floater, you will collaborate with local store teams and fellow team members on new store installations, resets/remodels, and seasonal installations. You will support the team independently to showcase strong organization, time management, and retailer relationship skills while being the face of Hallmark. There will be occasions to collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory.
In this role you will receive a schedule in advance for the accounts you service. The job includes removing product, dismantling and building/assembling fixtures, and placing products on display. This could involve a small reset on a 4‑ft display or an entire department. Typically an on‑site Installation Supervisor will assign tasks to each Hall marker on the team.
- Your starting pay will be between $16.00 – $16.25 depending on your skills and experience.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Weekly hours are between 5–15 hours per week.
- Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
- Installation day engagement:
Assign and execute reset/installation activities, remove product, dismantle fixtures, build fixtures, and display product. Communicate with your supervisor via mobile device and monitor inventory. - Holiday support:
Work during extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the actual holiday itself. - One Team Vision:
Support other team members as needed in their territories. - Additional requirements:
Cover the geographical area of North (Portland, ME), South (Medford, MA), West (Methuen, MA), and East (Swampscott, MA). Must live in MA and be available to travel within the area.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write and understand English.
- Can lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device for documents and information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
