Maintenance Technician

Pay Range & Schedule

Pay Range: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with on-call rotation every other weekend.

• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks across the facility.
• Assist the Plant Operations Director with general repairs, troubleshooting, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas.
• Maintain plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct carpentry, painting, ceiling tile replacement, and other facility upkeep projects as needed.
• Maintain awareness of OSHA standards and Joint Commission requirements.
• Inspect and spot patch roof leaks; repair or replace fencing and gates; check exterior lighting; manage trash and debris; keep walkways and entrances clear; maintain parking lots.
• Inspect and touch up painted surfaces; repair or replace ceiling tiles, walls, wallpaper seams, flooring as needed; maintain patient care areas including lighting, handrails, door handles, furniture, call cords, and bathroom fixtures.
• Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems, generator system, sprinkler and fire alarm systems, plumbing and electrical systems, elevator system, paging and smoke detection systems, pest control and environmental systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related maintenance experience preferred; healthcare or institutional facility experience a plus.
• Ability to perform basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and safe work practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
