Auditor Accountant, Tax Accountant
Senior Auditor, Technology Industry – Wipfli (Hybrid location, Havre, MT). We are seeking a dedicated professional to conduct audits for technology clients using GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA, and SOX standards, with responsibilities ranging from financial statement audit to internal control testing.

- Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients’ annual reports.
- Participate in pre‑audit planning and risk assessment to design effective audit procedures.
- Identify accounting and audit issues, perform research and propose solutions.
- Test internal controls, policies, and procedures and provide recommendations.
- Conduct audits under GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA, and SOX.
- Build and maintain client relationships and internal collaboration.
- Teach, train, and develop junior staff and interns.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (must meet CPA exam eligibility).
- CPA certification preferred (candidates actively pursuing CPA considered).
- 1–3 years of accounting/audit experience.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying client complexities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50 % of the time.

Estimated base pay range: $72,900 – $109,300, with potential salary increases based on business factors. Employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus (subject to participation rules).
