SummaryJoin CHS as an Assistant Store Manager for our Cenex® Zip Trip convenience store in Havre, MT. In this full‑time role you will support store operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide work direction, training and assistance to team members.
- Create a high‑energy, fun work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service: greet customers, assist with inquiries, handle cashier duties, and issue receipts.
- Display and organize products for easy customer access.
- Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise.
- Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
- Authorize gas station pump payments.
- Monitor customers to support loss prevention.
- Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- 1+ year experience in retail, merchandising & customer service.
- Must meet minimum age requirement.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Experience managing in retail, convenience, or fast‑food stores.
- English communication skills.
- Basic math and computer skills for cash register and record‑keeping systems.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Pre‑employment screening may be required.
- Ability to stand, squat, bend and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
