Summary

Join CHS as an Assistant Store Manager for our Cenex® Zip Trip convenience store in Havre, MT. In this full‑time role you will support store operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide work direction, training and assistance to team members.
  • Create a high‑energy, fun work environment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service: greet customers, assist with inquiries, handle cashier duties, and issue receipts.
  • Display and organize products for easy customer access.
  • Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise.
  • Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
  • Authorize gas station pump payments.
  • Monitor customers to support loss prevention.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • 1+ year experience in retail, merchandising & customer service.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Experience managing in retail, convenience, or fast‑food stores.
  • English communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills for cash register and record‑keeping systems.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Pre‑employment screening may be required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
