Daylife and Programming Coordinator
Starwood Hotels is seeking a Daylife and Programming Coordinator to support Daylife programming at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. This role reports to the Daylife Manager and focuses on administrative and operational tactics for reservations, vendors, supplies, web and property marketing related to Daylife programming.
About the Role- Support the implementation of Daylife programming and guest experience strategies to create a cohesive marketing platform aligned with hotel performance goals.
- Liaise with restaurant, spa, other departments and partners.
- Maintain vendor relationships and support projects including printing, graphic design, and digital displays.
- Build out and manage Daylife offerings through website, RTR, and app.
- Reconcile new RTR bookings with daily guest itineraries in KYC.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication regarding programming changes.
- Manage guest communication related to programming events via KYC, including daily/weekly recommendations, cancellation coordination, weather/location changes, reminders, and paid activity charges.
- Update schedule on RTR, website, app, and collateral.
- Manage inventory of collateral stock.
- Update large chalkboards and rally attendance, ensuring availability updates.
- Coordinate with programming managers/directors on attendance/feedback.
- Distribute daily/weekly reports from RTR to departments.
- Manage department expenses (vendors, supplies, etc).
- Passionate about organization and details with a minimum of 1 year of similar work experience.
- A post‑secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in an administrative role with strong organization and technical skills, ability to multi‑task and a team player.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24‑hour operation.
- 2+ years of experience in reservations or guest services, preferably in lifestyle or luxury hospitality.
- Passion for the mission and values of 1 Hotels, with general knowledge of sustainability issues.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and service/hospitality orientation.
