Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (required for all teacher, librarian, or counselor positions unless the position is designated CTE).
- Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
If hired without completing a Teacher’s Education Program (TEP), graduates a maximum of three years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license. Must enroll in a Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB) approved program and demonstrate yearly progress towards licensing.
