The Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Hair Stylist to join the Spa Team.

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property features 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets (3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining).

• Classification: Part-Time
• Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: The hourly rate is $14.00 per hour, plus piece rate per service, plus service charge %, plus voluntary gratuity. Training rate: $16.00 per hour. (Plus piece rate per service, service charge %, and voluntary gratuity.)

Role and responsibilities: As a Hair Stylist, you would be responsible for providing professional hair care and treatments to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

• Perform hair care services including, but not limited to, cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, updos, permanent waves and straightening
• Provide accurate information about salon products
• Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform general Spa duties, as needed
