Primary Responsibilities:

The Esthetician delivers exceptional guest experiences through facials, waxing, specialty skincare, and body treatments in a luxury spa environment. This role requires technical expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment. The Esthetician listens to guest needs, respects privacy, and provides personalized services that exceed expectations.

  • Perform professional facials, facial waxing, and body treatments tailored to guest needs.
  • Conduct thorough client consultations to identify contraindications and evaluate skin suitability for treatments.
  • Recommend appropriate skincare treatments and home‑care regimen.
  • Perform advanced esthetic services and enhancements, including Hydrodermabrasion, cold therapy, LED and infrared therapy, dermaplaning and peels (as trained).
  • Maintain treatment room cleanliness and organization, including folding and storing linens.
  • Promote and sell spa services and retail products through product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Adhere to all esthetics policies, including chemical handling, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in overall spa operations to ensure smooth daily functioning.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service aligned with luxury spa standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Other Duties:
  • Ability to deliver personalized, professional, and discreet services.
  • Knowledge of skincare products, treatments, and esthetic technology.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Team-oriented with flexibility to assist in spa operations as needed.
  • Commitment to upholding hygiene, safety, and professional standards.
Working Conditions:
  • Comfortable working in a spa environment with exposure to chemicals, lotions, and skincare products.
Work Hours:
  • Must be able to work shift and days determined by the Manager.
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week, when needed.
Equipment Use:
  • Variety of aesthetic technology, telephone, computer system.
Mental and Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit, stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (linens, spa equipment, or products).
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Communication Demands:
  • Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to employees, manager and guests/clients.
  • Ability to communicate over the phone.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury spa and/or hotel environment providing facials, waxing, and body treatments.
  • Experience with esthetic technology such as Hydrodermabrasion, cold therapy, LED and infrared therapy, dermaplaning and peels, preferred.
  • Prior experience assisting with spa operations or retail sales preferred.
