Required Qualifications- At least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Attention and focus: the ability to concentrate on a task without distraction
- Customer Service Orientation
- Effective communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal and written communication
- Mathematical reasoning: ability to use math to solve a problem such as calculating day’s supply of a prescription
- Problem resolution: ability to judge when something is wrong, recognize problems, and choose the best course of action in complex situations
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods, moving by foot to accomplish tasks
- Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
- Extending arms, bending at waist; stooping requires full use of legs and back muscles
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 lbs frequently
- Visual acuity required for reading, transcribing, computer usage and visual inspection of small parts
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred but Not Required.
