10 DPay Rate: $2403.00 - $2477.00

Must be willing and able to work on-call.

Must be able to report to work within 30 minutes when on-call.

Must be willing and able to perform phlebotomy.

Education:

Medical Technologist/Specialist:
Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
Medical Laboratory Technician:
Associate degree in medical laboratory technology/technician from an accredited institution

Certification:
MT:
Certified or licensed as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS),, Technologist or Specialist in the assigned/responsible laboratory discipline by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division.
MLT:
Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division.

Licensure:
Hawaii State license as a Technologist, Technician or Specialist.

Experience:

1 year Licenses: MLT-HI

Certifications:

MEDLABTECH(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
ORMedical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist, Laboratory MT-HISSN Required DOB Required Work History:
Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 yearMUST HAVE ACTIVE HI LIC (takes 10-12 weeks)
