Overview
About the Position:
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the US Army Intelligence & Security Command, 780th MI BDE, 782D MI BN providing All-Source intelligence support to operational Cyber Combat Mission Teams by performing research and analysis assigned target sets.
- Assess and report on the full range of threat actions and capabilities.
- Develop liaison with counterparts from other agencies and organizations to ensure synchronization and integrity of methodologies, database development, and intelligence community tradecraft.
- Perform preliminary and advanced analysis to establish target identification and activity patterns.
- Analyze intelligence information and assess developments, trends, and threat implications.
- Identify, report, and maintain intelligence information to support deliberate and crisis action planning and targeting processes.
- Coordinate exploitation of specialized intelligence systems and programs using metadata retrieval techniques and capabilities.
- Conduct research from multiple sources for development of intelligence products in support of defensive Cyber Operations through threat mapping and trend and pattern analysis of threat forces and linkage analysis.

Adjudication Type:
National security.
Direct Deposit of Pay required. Salary includes local market supplement. Situational or ad-hoc telework may be authorized on a case-by-case basis. Recruitment/Relocation/Retention Incentives may be authorized. Advanced In-Hire (AIH) may be authorized. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations.
