Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. In a leading retail setting, the role offers a growing, high-impact, customer-focused opportunity to work independently or as part of a team and positively impact the lives of others.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and resolving potential service issues
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact and assist with locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks and credit card transactions per company policies
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks as directed
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Assist departments including photo and beauty to ensure full stocking and operation while staying current with services and tools
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed and participate in opportunities for growth and career development
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs to support the company mission

Required Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright for sustained periods
• Capability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently; overhead lifting as required
• Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

• Pay range: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour. The offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
