Part Time G​/L Accountant

Temporary Part-Time GL Accountant
Location: Hawaiian Gardens, CA
Schedule: Part-Time, Temporary, Variable Schedule

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to provide temporary, part-time accounting support for a company in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys hands‑on GL work and has the flexibility to accommodate a schedule that may vary from week to week.

Schedule Requirements

• Temporary, part-time assignment
• Days and hours may vary based on business needs
• Weekly schedule is not guaranteed to be consistent
• Candidates must be comfortable with changing start/end times or workdays when needed

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and period-end close
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Research and resolve account discrepancies
• Prepare supporting schedules and accounting reports
• Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and account analysis
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation
• Provide additional accounting support as business needs fluctuate

Qualifications

• Previous general ledger/accounting experience
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Experience supporting month-end close
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be comfortable working a flexible and variable part-time schedule

Pay Details: $36.00 to $42.00 per hour
