Support Worker​/Personal Assistant – Hawick

Lady with MS living in Burnfoot area of Hawick is looking to employ Personal Assistants to help with a variety of tasks and day to day living. It will primarily be support for 2 hours in the evenings that is required.

The role requires significant attention to detail and compassion, providing both practical assistance with household chores and personal care tasks. It will include support during daytime, bedtime, and weekend hours. The ideal candidates for this role will be patient, understanding, and capable of carrying out a variety of tasks.

You must be available for work throughout the year, including school holidays and bank holidays. Evening and weekend shifts are also required.

As part of a supportive team, punctuality and reliability are essential for ensuring the continuity and quality of care which significantly impacts her daily life.

• Hours of work: 2 hours per day 7:45pm – 9:45pm
• Days be discussed with potential applicants
• £14.50 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

While care qualifications are an advantage, training will be provided as and when required for a candidate with the right personal attributes, but they should be able to show some suitability for the role.
