Who are we looking for?

We have an opportunity available for a committed individual with experience who has the right attitude to succeed as our new wash operator. The successful candidate will be an essential part of the production process, responsible for operating and maintaining washing machines and equipment to ensure high-quality output. You will play a key role in handling cashmere garments, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely completion of production schedules.

The successful candidate will become a flexible member of the current finishing area of our wider production team.

What

will you be doing in the role?
  • Operate and monitor textile washing machines and related equipment.
  • Select and apply appropriate washing processes, including detergents, temperature, and cycle settings, based on fabric type and production requirements.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure fabrics meet company standards after the washing process.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic troubleshooting or repairs as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with other production team members to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of washing cycles, materials used, and output quantities.
What will you bring to the role?
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the textiles industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with industrial washing equipment and fabric care techniques is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
