Accessory Knitting SupervisorLocation: Hawick Mill
Hours: Permanent, Full-time, 38 hours per week, Dayshift.
Salary: Hourly rate begins at £14.63, with additional consideration given for candidates with extensive or specialised experience.
About the RoleBased in our Hawick knitting mill, you will:
- be able to prioritise workloads and problem solve issues efficiently working to meet targets and fulfil production schedules
- deal with issues quickly and efficiently using clear communication and flexibility to adapt to production requirements while working as part of a larger team reporting directly to the Accessories Knitting Manager
- be responsible for championing the highest quality throughout the team with a good eye for detail
You will:
- be quality driven demonstrating high attention to detail
- have previous supervisory experience or manufacturing experience, preferably in a knitting environment
- be self motivated with strong organisational skills
- have the ability to supervise and work within a team
- be computer literate, with prior knowledge of manufacturing systems being advantageous
