Operations Manager
A phenomenal, full-time opening has come available for an Operations Manager to join an international consumer goods company that has been in business for over 150+ years in the Hawthorne, CA area. Responsibilities- Effectively track and communicate updates between Customer Service, Logistics, and Accounting teams
- Assisting with Logistics by communicating upcoming sales orders with Customer Service for warehouse preparation and shipment
- Organize regular meetings with departments to discuss each other’s challenges and identify resolutions
- Assist with managing international sales orders and shipments, as well as orders shipped from US
- Oversee international inventory control and purchasing within Oracle Net Suite platform
- Monitor all purchases and inventory into EDI and Net Suite ERP system
- Navigate complex Excel documents including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s
- Minimum of 5+ years of Logistics/Operations experience in the Consumer goods industry is a MUST
- Strong understanding of Logistics/Purchasing processes i.e., booking containers, scheduling, importing, processing, and flowing goods to multiple locations globally is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills to track and communicate updates between Customer Service, Logistics, and Accounting teams is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems – Oracle Net Suite & MS Excel is a MUST
- Understand seasonality and successfully forecast up to 1 year out is a PLUS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Business/Finance/Purchasing, Logistics or related is a MUST
