We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and validating mechanical systems and components that meet performance, manufacturability, and cost requirements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept Development: Create mechanical designs and systems from initial concept through to detailed design and production release.
  • 3D Modeling & Drafting: Develop detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using tools such as Solid Works, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Engineering Analysis: Perform tolerance studies, FEA simulations, and design‑for‑manufacturability (DFM) reviews to ensure structural integrity and performance.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Build and test prototypes to validate designs against performance and safety standards.
  • Design Documentation: Generate and maintain technical documentation including BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to optimize designs for cost and production efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and implement best practices for mechanical design, testing, and process efficiency.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Creo, NX, or CATIA).
  • Strong understanding of materials, tolerancing, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with DFM/DFA principles and GD&T.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in thermal, structural, or vibration analysis.
  • Working knowledge of fluid analysis (CFD).
  • Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and revision control processes.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or energy systems).
