A private real estate company is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team! In this newly created position due to growth, the Financial Reporting Manager will report to the Controller and be responsible for financial reporting, consolidations, and assist with technical accounting. To be successful in this Financial Reporting Manager, the candidate should have great communication skills, detail-oriented, and be deadline driven.

What do you need for this Financial Reporting Manager role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6-10 years of accounting experience
• Must have public accounting experience
• Active CPA+
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Financial Reporting Manager role?

• Lead the financial reporting and consolidation process.
• Support teams through monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Review financial statements and reporting packages.
• Prepare consolidation adjustments.
• Assist with executive and board-level presentations.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with developing annual budgets.
• Prepare operating expense budgets.
• Oversee capital expenditure forecasting and performance tracking.
• Analyze budget variances.
• Support rolling forecasts.
• Support automation and reporting enhancements.
• Assist with the preparation of consolidated, multicurrency financial statements.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of group-wide accounting policies and standards.
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of consolidation and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and accounting to support planning, compliance, and statutory reporting.
  
  Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
• Perform additional reporting and compliance-related duties as needed.
