Head of Finance | Advanced Manufacturing & Technology 🚨

This is not a “keep-the-lights-on” finance role.

We’re partnering with a cutting-edge, venture-backed technology company operating at the intersection of advanced manufacturing, software, and automation
. They’re looking for a Head of Finance to build and lead the financial engine that will support rapid global scale.

This role is for a hands‑on finance leader who thrives in operationally complex environments and wants real ownership—from day‑to‑day execution to long‑term strategy.

• Full ownership of finance and accounting
  : FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, tax, and compliance
• Design and implement scalable financial systems and processes built for growth
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance team as the business scales
• Develop financial models across engineering spend, operating costs, pricing, and capital investments
• Drive cost optimization across capital equipment, materials, labor, and outsourced services
• Partner closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to improve efficiency and unit economics
• Translate data into insights that directly influence product strategy and commercial decisions
• Support fundraising, investor relations, and due diligence
• Manage banking, debt facilities, and external financial relationships
• Act as a trusted financial voice with executives, board members, and investors
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or capital‑intensive environments
• Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and operational finance
• Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, high‑accountability leadership role
• Experience working directly with executives and investors
• MBA or Master’s in Finance
• Experience in VC‑backed or high‑growth tech startups
• Background in investment banking or investor relations
• Deep understanding of inventory, depreciation, capex, R&D spend, and make‑vs‑buy decisions
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• A true “
  no job too big or too small
  ” mindset
