Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Dev Ops Engineer to join our small and exciting team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a passion for automating deployments for software (on-premise and cloud) and embedded systems. This role is critical to our success, and you will have a significant impact on our products and customers.
EssentialJob Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for our software and embedded systems.
- Automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our infrastructure on AWS and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to ensure that our applications are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Write and modify RESTful APIs to support our automation and integration efforts.
- Manage and maintain our development and production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other members of the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.
- MS or BS in Computer Science or related engineering field
- 6+ years of experience in Dev Ops roles, with a focus on embedded systems
- Excellent Linux administration skills
- Proficiency in AWS, Jenkins, JFrog, and Git actions
- Strong experience with Python
- Proven ability to write and modify RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Rabbit
MQ, Trino, and Ansible - Solid understanding of networking concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Language skills:
Interpersonal ability to work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers; ability to present information in team meetings and design reviews - Ability to communicate calmly in verbal and written form; substantial problem-solving abilities
- US Citizenship or lawful permanent residence in the U.S. required in support of US Government contracts/subcontracts
- May require sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
- May involve interruptions and occasional extended work hours
- Work environment may include loud noises, hazardous materials, or chemicals
Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000
