Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Endpoint Guardian

The Amazon Endpoint Guardian team, based out of Hyderabad, part of the Enterprise Engineering org, builds highly‑scalable enterprise products that safeguard data on Amazon assets, adhering to Amazon’s unique and high security bar. We manage and continuously develop products that are multi‑tenant, cross platform and fully AWS native – enabling Amazon Corp, internal organizations and new acquisitions to securely manage corporate‑owned mobile devices and access to Amazon resources on BYO devices.

You will join a highly technical and fast‑moving team that is always on the hunt for new technology adoption, operational excellence, and keeps customer focus and data security at the helm at all times.

We are looking for a motivated SDE II with the desire and talent to contribute to this team. This person should have a successful track record of independently designing and delivering new features or products, thriving and succeeding in delivering high‑quality technology products and services in a hyper‑growth environment where technologies and features shift fast. They should have demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of complex cross‑domain products.

• Design and own platform‑specific services and technologies in AEG.
• Adapt to the changes platforms bring, continuously improve our products, and operate at the highest level.
• Have significant opportunities in driving overall strategy by helping define new product features, driving system architecture, and spearheading best practices that enable a quality product.
• Partner with Senior Engineers, security partners, mobile/laptop platform providers to build systems in this space.

• Operate highly scalable systems ensuring customers are served at all times.
• Develop AEG product features catering to iOS, Android, FireOS, macOS, and Windows platforms.
• Interact with internal customers and partner teams to understand new requirements/problems and collaborate to find solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, dashboard presentations, and demos.

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• 3+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

• 2+ years of Android development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
