Location:
Hawthorne, CA. Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift for external candidates. Open to Level 1 candidates with 3+ years of experience. Base pay: $21.00/hr – $30.00/hr.
- Show commitment to health and safety by actively promoting safe work practices and proactively managing hazards.
- Operate digital printers to produce high-quality transfers, prepare, monitor, operate, verify, and inspect print production, and ensure all jobs meet specifications and are completed on time.
- Maintain equipment uptime through routine maintenance, correct operator-level maintenance, and detailed record keeping of production metrics.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance measures, inspect printed materials, conduct during-run checks, and make adjustments to maintain print quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve printer malfunctions, log maintenance activities, and perform daily/weekly cleaning routines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace and efficiently store tools, inks, and consumables.
- Contribute to a positive work environment, demonstrate company values, and build trusted relationships within the team and across functions.
- Communicate effectively with team members, printing managers, and external suppliers to coordinate jobs and share relevant information.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and twist throughout the workday.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close, color, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust.
- HP Indigo press experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of screen printing, making, and reclaiming experience preferred.
- Technical and computer proficiency.
- Experience using cloud-based order management systems.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and color perception.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Eligible for internal training and HP Indigo certification (Level 1, 2, and
3).
